This is a very important question for every musician to answer. As a musician, I think its important for one to be clear about why they are pursuing music in the first place and continue to explore that meaning throughout the rest of ones career.

Last Tuesday night my choir sang a composition I wrote. It was one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. And it’s what I want to do most with my life now. Not performing. Writing. For movies, shows, choirs, other artists.
All of my senior friends have told me they want me to be choir president. And so no one will run against me. It’s a weird way to win, but it’s the best way. It’s wonderful. I love this program and I want to help it thrive.
But I feel unsettled. I’m antsy about the future. I’ve let silly little worries and things get the best of me. I’ve been a bit shallow this week to be honest. I’m ready to change. I need to push the worry out. My brain is a swirly unsettled mess and I’m going to change it.
Hi. I don’t know if I know you right now, or when I’ll meet you. But I know that I want to be able to act like a little kid whenever I’m with you. I want to be able to run down the aisles of a grocery store on a shopping cart with you. We can build forts in the living room, camp in our backyard.I can’t wait to meet you for the first time.
